Ormesa Birillo Sitting/Walking Frame

The Ormesa Birillo is a walking and sitting frame specifically designed to give a child the ability to move freely and safely and stimulate curiosity by exploring surrounding environments. It provides the opportunity for a child to use their legs while in a seated position which is a great introduction to a traditional standing walker when weightbearing may be limited or strength needed to maintain a standing position. The triangular sitting position helps prevents extreme hip and trunk extension and enable head and trunk alignment. The abduction block keeps the pelvis in the triangular sitting. The Birillo comes standard with a latex-free back and seat cushion with an adjustable abductor to promote upright sitting, and properly align the spine and pelvis for optimal lower leg mobility. With an adjustable abduction block, handlebar, and height adjustable frame, the Birillo is sure to provide years of growth. An optional headrest and table can be added to increase upright, postural support. The Birillo is a great tool for therapists, teachers, and parents to aid in improving a childs overall strength, endurance, and mobility.
