Commander Car Seat
The Thomashilfen Commander is a highly adaptive positioning car seat designed for children with complex postural and safety needs. Engineered for highly individualised support, it provides targeted positioning and protection exactly where the child needs it, making it ideal for children with limited trunk or upper body control.
Fixed lateral trunk supports—proven through long-term use in rehabilitation strollers—offer essential stability and alignment, particularly for children who require additional postural control during transport. A wide range of accessories and intuitive adjustability allow clinicians and carers to fine-tune the setup for optimal fit, comfort, and function.
The Commander includes a built-in postural harness (for positioning support only) and is compatible with an extensive selection of optional accessories, including hip and lateral supports, abduction block, crotch pad, swivel base, footrest, seat depth extension, and anti-escape vest (shoulder strap retainer).
